The Layer Series paints are designed to add additional colors and highlights to your miniature and are perfect on the base coat. They have less hiding power, allowing for smooth transitions from color to color. You can also use them as a base color for your miniature, as all Citadel paints have excellent adhesion. If you find the color too saturated, you can also use them as a base color for your miniature.If you want to make the paint coverable, you can further dilute the paint with water or a special thinner.
To add highlights to a thumbnail, sometimes it's enough to paint protruding details or edges of the thumbnail with a color brighter than the base layer.
