Base series paints are primarily designed for applying a base coat to miniatures and figures. Their main feature is their high hiding power compared to other series and paints, but they can also be used for highlighting, drybrushing and other effects in painting.
The base coat technique is simple. The pre-diluted paint should be applied to the miniatures, optimally in two thin coats. This is to ensure that all subsequent colors have a substrate of your optimum color, not the color of the ground.
The Base series of paints consists of 54 colors that come in 12-milliliter cans.
